
Spicy Artichoke Dip with a Kick
This artichoke dip takes it up a notch. With a kick, you can easily adjust to how much spice you want. It is a perfect appetizer for Easter or any Spring/Summer party. It is not as heavy as traditional artichoke dip as it is mayo and cream cheese free. Serve with crudités and/or crackers, pita chips etc. You even can top on crusted french bread rounds. Enjoy!!!
Ingredients
- 14 oz Artichoke Hearts (can)
- 1/4 cup olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 tsp tarragon
- 3 sprinkles cayenne pepper or to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Thoroughly drain artichoke hearts and place in food processor. Add remaining ingredients and pulse blend until artichoke hearts are smooth but still somewhat chunky. Or live on the wild side and blend until smooth
